Welcome to Our Lochaber, a year-long partnership project between the West Highland Museum, Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar, Lundavra Primary and University of St Andrews, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The aim of the project was to be a multi-faceted exploration of Lochaber; its geology, archaeology, history, culture and industry, allowing the children’s voices to be heard through the five topic strands of Early Lochaber, The Jacobites, Health & Wellbeing, The Age of Empire and Changing Lochaber.

The ethos underpinning the project was belonging, community, caring and stewardship.
